Outdoor gear provides useful comparisons. A waterproof jacket often has fewer openings because each zipper is a potential leak. An outdoor watch must remain readable in changing light and rain without feeling cluttered. In both cases, you should be able to glance and get the information you need without pausing to study it.

Think About How It Will Age
