Our previous residence, a charming 2-bedroom, 1-bathroom bungalow, served us admirably during our time as renters. It was a wonderful upgrade from our compact New York City apartment, providing comfort and a taste of the quintessential California lifestyle. However, as our family grew and our desires for more space, functionality, and the freedom to truly personalize our living environment intensified, we knew it was time for a change. Our newly acquired residence, a beautiful Traditional style home built in 1940, exudes character and history from every corner. While it boasts a recently updated kitchen – a feature we appreciate for its current functionality, even though we have plans for a full remodel down the line – virtually every other aspect of the house has remained untouched for nearly eight decades.
